Why am I voting for Barack Obama?

He saved the American automobile industry. Products were improved, and countless jobs were saved.

His administration saved several banks and other financials, which if left to their own devices would have caused a major depression.

Obamacare helps 30 million obtain and pay for healthcare.

The Iraq War has ended and Osama Bin Laden has been eliminated.

Although a multimillionaire pays an estimated 17 percent federal tax rate, Gov. Mitt Romney has contempt for the poor, the disabled and unemployed who don't pay income tax.

Gov. Romney would keep the Bush tax cuts that especially benefit the rich and substantially increase military spending.

Sequestration or automatic spending cuts in non-mandated programs when the budget deficit is too large is looming as a problem.

Environmental protection and health research are some of the areas threatened by cutbacks by a president or a Congress that lets deficits run rampant.

There is much to think about when voting for a president or a congressman.

President Barack Obama has led the country in making substantial progress in recovery.

I believe he deserves four more years with a Congress that works with him.
