Coors Light Summer Basketball
Teams are being accepted for the Coors Light York Summer Basketball League at Voni Grimes Gym, 125 E. College Ave., York. The league has two divisions -- I and II. Games are played Monday through Thursday evenings beginning the week of May 29 and running into mid-August. Only the first 16 teams in Division I and the first 10 teams in Division II are guaranteed spots. The deadline to enter is Tuesday, May 15, at 4 p.m., unless the limit is reached before then. Red Lion Basketball Tournament
Athletes for Better Education (AFBE) will hold a regional basketball tournament at Red Lion High School from June 1 through June 3. There will be seven different age divisions for both boys and girls from 10 and under through 18 and under. Each team will get four games. The deadline to enter is May 18. York Catholic Bingo
York Catholic High School's Athletic Association is hosting Bingo on Sunday, May 6, at the high school. Doors open at noon and games begin at 2 p.m. The cost is $30 at the door. No advance tickets are on sale. The package includes 15 paper cards. Additional strips of three are available for $3 each. There are two jackpots of $500 and one $1,000 jackpot. Central League Old-Timers
The Central League Old-Timers Association will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at York VFW Post 556, 333 Eberts Lane, York. The guest speaker will be George Trout, who will exhibit part of his extensive baseball memorabilia collection. The public is welcome.
