SPRING GROVE — Whenever the Dallastown swimmers jump into the water this season, records are almost bound to fall.
The Wildcats continued the trend in a huge way on Wednesday evening.
The Dallastown boys and girls won all 24 events in the two meets against Spring Grove and broke 16 pool records in the process.
The Wildcats took the boys' meet, 145-40, and captured the girls' meet, 141-45.
Trevor Hine led the way for the Dallastown boys by winning the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle in record times of 1 minute, 46:61 seconds and 4:41:45, respectively. Hine also swam on two record-setting relay teams, the 200 freestyle team and the 400 freestyle team.
Mason Tate, Spencer Hill, Corey Stauffer and Noah Brockway also smashed individual pool records.
In the girls' meet, Kacey Oberlander and Alyssa Bixler each won two events with record times.
Oberlander placed first in the 200 individual medley (2:09:93) and 100 backstroke (:58:12), and Bixler captured the 50 freestyle (:24:91) and 100 freestyle (:53:68). Oberlander and Bixler were also part of two record-setting relay teams.
Julia Casolo delivered victories for the Wildcats in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
The Dallastown boys improved their York-Adams Division I record to 3-0-0 and overall mark to 9-0-0. Dallastown's girls are 3-0-0 in league meets and 8-1-0 overall.
