Coaching Vacancies

Spring Grove Area School District is accepting applications for the following coaching vacancies: two varsity assistant track coaches, a head varsity boys' lacrosse coach, a head varsity field hockey coach, two junior high football coaches and a varsity assistant boys' soccer coach. Softball League

The Coors Light White Rose Softball League registration packets are available for pick up at York City Recreation and Parks, 101 S. Youth Basketball League

The Graham Group Grimes Gym Youth Basketball League is accepting teams in the middle school division (grades 6-8) and the high school division (grades 9-12). No youth that plays for a high school team in grades 9-12 may play in the league. Games will be played Wednesday and Saturday nights at Voni Grimes Gym, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 5. Muddy Run Park Deer Count

Exelon Generation, located in Muddy Run Recreation Park, 172 Bethesda Church Road West, Holtwood, is seeking volunteers for the Muddy Run Park Deer Count. The event is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 19 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. The count involves one to two hours of steady walking and is not suggested for small children. It is held rain or shine, and participants should dress for field and weather conditions. Reservations are not required. Large vehicles would be helpful for car-pooling people to various start areas. The group will meet in the snack bar for a brief orientation before heading out into the field. For information, call (717) 284-5863.

York Unity Girls AAU

The York Unity Girls' AAU program is accepting online registration for girls that are in the seventh and eighth grades who want to play travel basketball at the national level.
