York County bowlers fared well in the Pennsylvania State Seniors Bowling Tournament which was held recently in Selinsgrove.

Bowlers competed in six age divisions in singles and all-events. Doubles competition included all ages.

Brent Hunter finished first in Class 6 (ages 50-54) six-game, scratch all-events competition. He also placed eighth in the Class 6 scratch singles, while Dave Zelger took 10th place.

Charles Fourhman garnered fifth in Class 2 (ages 70-74) scratch singles. Dennis Negley captured seventh place in the Class 4 (ages 60-64) nine-game, handicap all-events. Charlie Earnst took seventh in the Class 4 six-game, scratch all-events. He also teamed with Chuck Tillman to earn 11th place in scratch doubles. Mike and Nancy Wolfrom placed 14th in handicap doubles competition.
