York Catholic downed visiting Biglerville 2-1 on Wednesday in a York-Adams Division III boys' soccer showdown.

First-place York Catholic improved to 7-0-2 in division action, while second-place Biglerville fell to 6-1-1.

Brian Riley scored both goals for York Catholic, while Chris Sosa had a pair of assists. Irish goalie Luca Grippi made six stops to secure the win.

Harley Weigle scored for Biglerville.

OTHER BOYS' SOCCER

WEST YORK 4, EAST ERN YORK 0: At Wrightsville, Chris Toth, Michael Thomas, Andrew Gaines and Adam Vaupel each scored goals to lead West York. Brad Wood made six saves to record the shutout. Logan Billet had nine saves for Eastern. West York improved to 7-2-0 in York-Adams Division II.

RED LION 6, FAIRFIELD 2: At Red Lion, Dan Jones led the Lions to the non-divisional victory by scoring three goals. Evan Miller, Zach Neff and Logan Dettinger each scored one goal for the Lions, while Matt Carzo and Dan Longnecker each picked up one assist.
