The Stoverstown Tigers just keep on rolling in the Central Baseball League.

The first-place Tigers earned their 10th straight victory on Thursday evening with a 5-1 triumph over visiting Mount Wolf.

The home team trailed 1-0 after the top of the first, but surrendered no more runs, and scored five unanswered runs to secure the win.

Jake Hockensmith led the Stoverstown offense, going 2-for-3, including a two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth. Austin Botts went 2-for-3, including a two-run double in the bottom of the third, while Kyle Wildasin went 2-for-4, with a leadoff solo homer in the bottom of the fifth.

Stoverstown pitcher Ryan Kassab picked up the win, improving to 3-0, while Jon Patino pitched the final 22/3 innings, striking out three and walking none, to secure the save.

For Mount Wolf, Steve Pokopec had the lone RBI, when he singled in Trent Kline, who walked earlier in the inning and then stole second.

Stoverstown improved to 11-1 and improved its lead to three games over second-place Mount Wolf (8-4).

OTHER CENTRAL LEAGUE GAMES

JEFFERSON 5, DOVER 1: At Jefferson, Dave Walker led the home team to the victory by pitching a complete game on the mound. He struck out six and walked two, while allowing no earned runs and just two singles. Colin Porter went 3-for-3, including a double, with one run scored and one stolen base for the winners, who improved to 8-5. Pat Shannon (2-for-3, double, one RBI), Joe Trail (double) and Tyler Troxel (two-run single) also excelled for Jefferson.

GLEN ROCK 8, SHILOH 7: At Shiloh, the visitors plated two runs in the top of the seventh on some Shiloh miscues to take the lead and went on to capture the victory. Glen Rock also plated five runs in the top of fourth, highlighted by Dan Rhodes' three-run double. Dan Rogers pitched six innings to pick up the win. For Shiloh, Adam Sentz went 2-for-4, with a double, to go with two runs scored and two RBIs. Also for Shiloh, Derrick Krout went 2-for-3 with an RBI and one run scored, while Eli Vottero hit a three-run homer.

PLEASUREVILLE 8, MANCHESTER 7: Manchester led 7-4 after a five-run sixth but Pleasureville answered with four runs in the seventh, capped off by Scott Ream's two-run double. Jose Gomez (2-for-4, run scored) and Tyler Page (2-for-4, two RBIs, run scored) paced Pleasureville at the plate, while Andy Clemens (2-for-4, RBI, two runs scored) led Manchester.
