Bearcat Basketball Camp

The Bearcat Basketball Camp is scheduled for June 13-15 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in York High's gymnasium. Registration forms are available in the high school's main office for the camp for boys currently in grades 2-7. The cost is $60. For further information, contact Troy Sowers at 849-1218.

York Hiking Club

The York Hiking Club will hold the following hikes this month: A short hike is set for Wednesday, April 18, at The Tucquan Glen and Kelly's Run in Lancaster County. AFBE Basketball Tournament

Athletes for Better Education (AFBE) will hold a regional basketball tournament at Northeastern High School from May 18 through May 20. There will be seven different age divisions (10-and-under through 18-and-under) for both boys and girls. Each team will get four games. The deadline to enter is May 4. Special Olympics Spring Games

York County Special Olympics will hold its annual Spring Games on Saturday, May 12, beginning at 9 a.m. at York Suburban High School. Events to be held will be track and field and swimming competitions. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the parade of athletes and opening ceremonies beginning at 9 a.m. Volunteers are needed to act as buddies for our athletes during the day.
