The Dallastown Area High School varsity football game Friday night will feature a special military tribute as part of a turf campaign fundraiser.
The game, which kicks off at 7 p.m. against Red Lion, will include a pre-game ceremony honoring current and former military personnel in attendance, as any military member can get a ticket for $2.
The Dallastown Education Foundation also will auction off special "Football for Freedom" team autographed balls throughout the game to help raise money for a new turf field.
State Rep. Scott Perry is scheduled to speak before kickoff, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. The first 2,000 fans will get a mini-American flag.
