The Friends of the Heritage Rail Trail Corridor will present a special "Porch Talk" program at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the New Freedom Train Station, 117 Front St. in New Freedom.

George Hickman, a metal detector enthusiast, will present Metal Detecting for History and discuss how anyone can get involved in this hobby. The program will last about 30 minutes. It will be held rain or shine. The program is free with no registration required.
