* Red Lion Zion United Methodist Church, 1155 Felton Road, will host its annual Friends and Family Soup Supper, 4-6:30 p.m. Saturday. The menu will feature an assortment of homemade soups, salads, desserts and beverages. Held in conjunction with the national Souper Bowl of Caring, diners are asked to bring non-perishable food items and/or paper supplies, soap, detergent, etc., for Zion's Food Pantry.

Admission is free, but seating is limited. To reserve a seat or for more information, call Kathi at (717) 246-7216. In case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled.

* Members of Messiah United Methodist Church, 1300 N. Beaver St., North York, will host their annual Souper Bowl campaign on Sunday. After the 10:30 a.m. service, a lunch will be held at noon. The menu will feature chicken corn, ham and bean, and vegetable soups and dessert. There is no charge, but diners are asked to donate canned or non-perishable food items to be donated to the West End Local Link and Messiah's food pantry.

* Christ Lutheran Church, 80 S. Main, Loganville, will host a Souper Bowl of Caring breakfast, 9:15-10:15 a.m. Sunday. Non-perishable food items and monetary donations will be given to the Southern York County Food Bank. Services with Holy Communion will be held at 8 and 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday school.
