Pine Grove Presbyterian Church on Saturday will prepare and serve 38 turkeys, 70 cakes and 110 pounds and other Thanksgiving favorites at its annual Turkey Supper.
For more than 100 years, the parishioners of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church have prepared and served the Turkey Supper the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The all-you-care-to-eat menu features oven-roasted turkey, bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, buttered peas, sauerkraut, fruit cup, homemade cranberry sauce, rolls and cake.
Tickets are $11 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 11; children younger than 5 are free. Carry-out meals are available for $12 and may be ordered at (717) 862-3579 or purchased on-site. Service begins at 3:30 p.m.
The Turkey Supper will be served in the social hall at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, located at 4263 Delta Road, Airville. The church is 10 miles south of Red Lion and 6 miles north of Delta, along Route 74. Learn more at facebook.com/pinegroveturkeysupper.
