Ohio invader Cole Duncan won the 30-lap sprint-car feature at Path Valley Speedway on Sunday evening.

Duncan took the lead from Fred Rahmer on the 17th lap and went on to score the $5,000 victory.

Danny Dietrich finished second, with Rahmer having to settle for third. Daryn Pittman and Rodney Westhafer rounded out the top five. Completing the top 10 were Dan Shetler, Hanover's Logan Schuchart, Bill Stine, Brent Marks and Thomasville's Greg Hodnett.

It was the first sprint-car race at the quarter-mile Path Valley oval since 1995.

In the SpeedSTR feature, modified superstars Jeff Strunk and Kenny Brightbill finished first and second with 16-year-old Brandon Rahmer getting third after having scored his first career victory the night before.

Chandler Weibley won the micro-sprint feature.

OTHER DIRT TRACK RESULTS

FORTUNE SMILES ON DIETRICH AT LINCOLN: Current point leader Danny Dietrich has won races in a number of ways this season at Lincoln Speedway, but his win Saturday evening was very unexpected.

Dietrich's sixth Lincoln win of the season was worth $3,200, and came with a big dose of good luck.

Dietrich was running fourth with a little more than five laps remaining in the 25-lap feature when leader Brian Montieth crashed while trying to get by a crashing car. Second- and third-place runners Alan Krimes and Aaron Ott were unable to miss Montieth, and were also involved in the incident. No one was injured.

On the restart, Gerard McIntyre Jr. powered by Dietrich to take the lead, and it wasn't until Dietrich passed McIntyre on the 23rd lap that he was credited with leading the event. Dietrich claimed the win over McIntyre, with York's Adam Wilt in third. Brian Leppo and York's Cory Haas completed the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Jim Siegel, Brent Marks, Brad McClelland, York's Johnny Mackison Jr. and Ryan Bohlke.

Niki Young used a late-race pass of Dover's Matt Boland to become Lincoln's first repeat winner in the 358 sprints this season. Young passed Boland on the 18th of 20 laps for the win. Boland finished second, with Matt Mountz in third. York's Jeff Rohrbaugh and Tyler Ross completed the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were York's Issac Sneeringer, Nathan Berwager, Manchester's Austin Hogue, Mike Bittinger and Ryan Wilson.

Jimmy Combs scored his first career thundercar win, taking the lead from second-place finisher Jamie Zentmyer on the sixth of 20 laps. Mikey Guise, Duane Watson and Brian Diehl completed the top five.

THOMASVILLE DRIVER SHINES AT PORT ROYAL: Thomasville's Greg Hodnett raced to his seventh Port Royal win of the season Saturday.

Including the bonus for winning from the 12th starting spot, Hodnett collected $3,500 for his win.

Hodnett trailed Lance Dewease until the 23rd of 25 laps, when Dewease shredded a left rear tire. Hodnett went on to score the win over 20th-starting Fred Rahmer. Mike Erdley finished third, with Blane Heimbach and Keith Kauffman in the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Doug Esh, Mike Wagner, Davey Sammons, Jordan Frontz and Steve Buckwalter.

Scott Haus won the 20-lap late-model feature over Mike Lupfer, with Tim Wilson, Jeff Miller and Chris Casner in the top five.

Mike Wagner II bested his brother, Logan Wagner, to win the 305 sprint feature. Nathan Gramley, Reed Thompson and Mark Watkins completed the top five.

Bill Powell was the enduro dash winner.

HODNETT ALSO WINS AT GROVE: Hodnett also won on Friday at Williams Grove, coming from the 12th starting spot to take the lead from Buckwalter on the 12th of 25 laps.

With the new purse and bonuses, Hodnett collected $4,840 for his win.

Montieth finished second with Esh in third. Rounding out the top 10 were Sammons, Dietrich, Daryn Pittman, Buckwalter, Dewease, Rick Lafferty and Donnie Kreitz Jr.

Mark Smith came from the back of the field after being involved in a first-lap tangle to win the 358 sprint feature. Smith came out on top of the three-car battle for the lead on the 13th of 20 laps. Eric Tomecek finished second, with Wilson, Hellam's Adrian Shaffer and Brian Garland in the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Mountz, Jay Galloway, Nate Hammaker, Amy Ott and Rodney Westhafer.

On Saturday, Frankie Herr drove to his second win of the season in the 20-lap, super-sportsman feature. Wellsville's Scott Geesey finished second, with Dave Berkheimer in third. Carmen Perigo Jr. and Mike Enders completed the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Bobby Hockenberry, Russ Mitten, Lewisberry's Scott Dellinger, Steve Fannasy and Rick Barr.

Travis Mease got his first win of the season in the limited-late-model feature. Hanover's Bobby Beard finished second, followed by Wes Alleman, Dover's Gene Knaub and Jared Miller.

York's Sam Rial won the street-stock feature.

WOMER, CANNON WINS AT SELINSGROVE: Colby Womer and Fairview Township's Pat Cannon each won 358 sprint features at Selinsgrove Saturday.

In a make-up event from the week before, Womer got his first win in nearly two years, besting Cannon. Phil Walter was third, followed in the top 10 by Mark Smith, Jason Shultz, Derek Locke, Cody Keller, Tomecek, Ryan Kissinger and Mike Walter.

In the regular event, Cannon was the winner over Locke, with Mark Smith, John Smith II, Keller, Womer, Shultz, Nyle Berkes, Mike Walter and Kissinger in the top 10.

Dave Zona got his first career Selinsgrove late-model win over Jim Yoder, Dylan Yoder, Jim Bernheisel and Jeff Rine. Kyle Bachman won the pro-stock feature and Bob Bussey was the roadrunner winner.

CUNNINGHAM ROLLS AT TRAILWAY: On Friday at Trailway, J.B. Cunningham scored his second 358 sprint win of the season, with Bittinger in second.

Shane Hoff finished third, followed by Lewisberry's Kyle Moody, Hogue, Hanover's Joe Trone Jr., Hanover's Tim Wagaman, McClelland, Keith Prutzman and Wes Irwin.

Grant Adams won the limited-late-model feature over Bernie Beard, with Bobby Beard, John Baker and Fred Harden in the top five.

On Saturday, York's Chase Dietz came from the 12th starting spot to win his fourth 600cc micro-sprint feature of the season. Travis Scott finished second, followed by Shawn Seifert, Tanner Hunsicker and Bo Gordon.

In the 270cc micro sprints, Steve Cox was the winner over Joe Long Jr., Brian Marriott, Matt Campbell and Michael Ertter.

O'NEAL HAS $10,000 PAYDAY AT HAGERS TOWN: Don O'Neal scored the $10,000 win in the Conococheague 50 for the Lucas Oil late models at Hagerstown Saturday.

O'Neal swapped the lead with Steve Francis numerous times before taking the top spot for good on the 46th lap. Francis settled for second, followed by Jimmy Owens, Tyler Reddick and Scott Bloomquist.

Rick Stouffer won the pure-stock feature.
