Thomasville's Greg Hodnett won the opening-night race of the Keystone Cup Series Thursday evening at Port Royal Speedway.
Hodnett collected $5,000 for his win in the 30-lap sprint-car feature.
Hodnett started fourth and took the lead from Fairview Township's Pat Cannon on the eighth lap. He then had to withstand a late-race charge by second-place finisher Lance Dewease.
Danny Dietrich finished third, with Alan Krimes and Blane Heimbach in the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Brent Marks, Daryn Pittman, Mike Wagner, Sam Hafertepe Jr. and Aaron Ott.
In the 20-lap super-sportsman feature, Russ Mitten scored the win over Frankie Herr. Lewisberry's Scott Dellinger finished third, with Carman Perigo Jr. and Jay Fannasy in the top five.
Rounding out the top 10 were Jim Shuster, LeRoy Martin, Mike Enders, Chris Meleason and Dave Socks.
The original opening-night show for the Keystone Cup Series was set for Wednesday at Grandview Speedway, but it was rained out.
