Thomasville's Greg Hodnett raced to his fifth overall win of the season on Sunday evening at Susquehanna Speedway Park.

Hodnett collected $4,000 for his win in the non-stop 25-lap sprint-car feature.

It was the first of only three sprint-car shows scheduled for Susquehanna this season.

Hodnett started third and took the lead from pole-sitter Derek Sell on the seventh lap. He then had to withstand challenges from both second-place finisher Aaron Ott and third-place finisher Danny Dietrich.

Alan Krimes finished fourth, with Logan Schuchart in fifth. Rounding out the top 10 were Chad Layton, Lance Dewease, Brent Marks, Sell and Donnie Kreitz Jr.

In the 20-lap 358 sprint-car feature, Mark Smith vaulted from fourth to first on the opening lap and went on to score his second win of the weekend. Fairview Township's Pat Cannon finished second, with Eric Tomecek in third. Lewisberry's Kyle Moody and Manchester's Austin Hogue completed the top five.

Rounding out the top 10 were Rodney Westhafer, Mike Bittinger, Hanover's Jacob Allen, Tyler Ross and York's Tim Berkheimer.

Saturday night winners at Susquehanna included Roy Miller in the limited-late models and Donnie Broderick in the Xtreme stocks.

OTHER DIRT TRACK RESULTS

DIETRICH VICTORIOUS AT LINCOLN: Dietrich raced to his first Lincoln Speedway sprint-car win of the season Saturday evening.

Dietrich's second overall win of the season was worth $3,200.

Dietrich started eighth, and became the third leader of the race when he passed Gerard McIntyre Jr. for the lead on the 10th of 25 laps. Brian Montieth tracked down Dietrich at the end, but had to settle for second, with Dewease getting third. McIntyre and York's Cory Haas completed the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Hodnett, Daryn Pittman, Billy Dietrich, Marks and J.J. Grasso.

Allen, 17, raced to his first Lincoln 358 sprint win, leading all 20 laps. Hanover's Allen becomes the fourth member of his family to win a race at Lincoln. He is the son of racing legend Bobby Allen.

York's Issac Sneeringer finished second, with Moody in third. Hanover's Cris Eash and Bittinger completed the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Todd Rittenhouse Jr., Matt Mounta, Dale Hammaker, York's Jeff Rohrbaugh and Hanover's Tim Wagaman.

Dover's Larry Baer led all 20 laps to score his first Lincoln limited-late-model win. Baer, who was the track's first thundercar champion back in the 1980s, has won numerous limited-late-model races at other tracks. Travis Mease finished second, with Stoverstown's Cam Zeigler in third. D.J. Mease and Bernie Beard completed the top five.

SMITH SHINES AT SE LINSGROVE: Mark Smith outgunned Pat Cannon to win the 358 sprint-car feature at Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday.

T.J. Stutts finished third, with Derek Locke and Blane Heimbach in the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were John Smith III, Larry Kelleher, Jason Shultz, Tomecek and Phil Walter.

Jeff Rine won his first of the season and 72nd career late-model feature at Selinsgrove. Jim Yoder finished second, followed by his son, Dylan Yoder. Steve Campbell and Matt Cochran completed the top five. Hayes Mattern was the pro-stock winner, and Bob Bussey won the roadrunner feature.

PAPPAS EXCELS AT HAGERSTOWN: Nick Pappas won Saturday's late-model-sportsman feature at Hagerstown.

Dave Stouffer Jr. was the pure-stock winner and Gary Proctor won the hobby-stock event.

KRIMES RULES AT GROVE: Krimes won his first race of the season in Williams Grove's sprint-car feature Friday.

Krimes collected $3,650 for his second career Grove win.

Krimes passed Daryn Pittman for the lead on the 21st of 25 laps after a spirited three-car battle. The entire complexion of the race change a lap later when four of the top seven cars were eliminated in a Turn 1 tangle.

Krimes went on to win over Pittman, with Fred Rahmer in third. Rick Lafferty and Schuchart completed the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Brian Leppo, Ott, Frank Cozze, Dewease and Marks.

Nate Hammaker took the lead from Ryan Wilson on the third lap and never looked back in winning the 20-lap 358 sprint feature. Wilson finished second, with Hellam's Adrian Shaffer in third. Cannon and Berkheimer completed the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Nathan Berwager, Tomecek, Dillsburg's Aaron Eichelberger, York's Josh Beard and Allen.

OWINGS LEADS WAY AT TRAILWAY: Steve Owings won Friday's 358 sprint feature at Trailway.

Owings took the lead from Keith Prutzman on the second of 25 laps and went on to score the win over Prutzman.

Hogue was third, followed by Spring Grove's Zach Eucalano, Rohrbaugh, Shane Hoff, Moody, J.B. Cunningham, Bittinger and Wes Irwin.

Seth Kerschner won the 1,000cc sidewinder micro-sprint feature, Larry Landis topped the Xtreme stocks and Robbie Carroll was the limited-stock winner.

On Saturday, York's Chase Dietz won the 600cc micro-sprint feature over Bo Gordon Jr., Jim Young, Shawn Seifert and David Holbrook.

The 270cc micro-sprint feature went to Steven Cox over Nik Gower. Michael Boer, Matt Campbell and Lyle Strohman completed the top five.

TAYLOR TRIUMPHS AT CLINTON COUNTY: Jeff Taylor won the 305 sprint feature at Clinton County Friday, with Logan Wagner in second. Jim Kennedy, Nathan Gramley and Mike Koehler completed the top five.

Late-model ace Jim Yoder won the IMCA-style modified feature.

PORT RAINED OUT: Racing at Port Royal was rained out after just two late-model heats were completed Saturday evening.
