Penn State's Nov. 9 contest at Minnesota has been set for a noon Eastern time kickoff at TCF Bank Stadium.
ESPN2 will televise the contest to a national audience.
Coach Bill O'Brien's Nittany Lions and the Golden Gophers will be meeting for the first time since 2010 and the 13th time overall. Penn State owns an 8-4 on-field edge in the series, which began in 1993, earning the decision in each of the last four meetings. Penn State won in Minneapolis, 33-21, in the last meeting three years ago.
The first of Penn State's three November home games, against Illinois on Nov. 2, will kick off at noon and air on ESPN.
Minnesota improved to 6-2 with a 34-23 win over No. 24 Nebraska last week and visits Indiana on Saturday before hosting the Nittany Lions on Nov. 9.
The remaining three Penn State kick times and TV information will occur within the Big Ten's 6 or 12 day selection process.
