The Susquehannock field hockey team is alone in first place in York-Adams Division II after blanking visiting West York on Monday, 2-0.

The Warriors took a 1-0 lead with 11:30 left in the first half on a goal by Taylor Mumley off an assist from Alesha Herman. It remained a one-score game until Camryn Burk scored with 2:37 remaining in the second half. Goalie Ashton Alban made three saves for Susquehannock to get the shutout.

The Warriors are 2-0 in the division, while West York fell to 1-1.

OTHER FIELD HOCKEY

KENNARD-DALE 4, EASTERN 1: At Fawn Grove, Lyndsey Duty scored the first and last goals of the match for the Rams. Duty connected at 16:23 of the opening half and at 15:07 of the second half with an assist from Jordan Miller. Miller and Jazmyn Gutshall also contributed goals for the winners. Rachel Deppen knocked the ball into the cage for Eastern. Rams' goalie Abi Pietra recorded six saves. K-D also won the JV match, 2-1.

RED LION 6, SPRING GROVE 1: The visiting Rockets tied it, 1-1, with 16:30 left in the first half on a score by Corrine Mummert off an assist from Dempsey Murphy. The score remained the same through intermission before the host Lions (4-1 York-Adams Division I) ripped off five second-half goals. Ali Posey led the way for Red Lion by tallying four goals. Morgan Kuehne (one assist) and Taylor Bosley each had a score. Spring Grove goalie Alexis Hersh made 12 stops. In JV action, Red Lion won, 3-0.

NEW OXFORD 1, NORTHEASTERN 0: At New Oxford, Bre Sauter scored the lone goal in the match at the 22:46 mark of the first half. Kaelyn Long picked up the assist. New Oxford improved to 2-2-0 in the division, while Northeastern fell to 3-1-0.

LITTLESTOWN 5, FAIR FIELD 2: At Littlestown, Karissa O'Connor's second-half hat trick highlighted the Thunderbolts' victory. O'Connor also assisted on Kelsie Drews' goal in the first half. Haylee Wood connected for the other Littlestown goal. Madison Macharsky and Erika Nordberg scored for Fairfield.

SOUTH WESTERN 3, CENTRAL 2: At Central, Montana Utz, Madison Suarez and Lauren Schmidt each scored one goal for the Mustangs. For the Panthers, Paige Harrold scored two goals, while Magnus Grimes picked up one assist. Central won the JV match, 1-0.

BIGLERVILLE 4, DELONE CATHOLIC 0: At Biglerville, Katie Camara scored one goal and assisted on two others for the Canners. K.C. Goshorn supplied a goal and an assist, and Maddie Wenk and Morgan Sowers connected for goals.

BERMUDIAN SPRINGS 7, HANOVER 1: At Hanover, the Eagles rolled to the win. No other details were available.
