Penn State's recruiting success in New Jersey continues.

The Nittany Lions have received an oral commitment from New Jersey linebacker Brandon Bell. He joins defensive linemen Garrett Sickels and Greg Webb and offensive lineman Brendan Mahon as the fourth New Jersey prospect in the 2013 recruiting class.

The 6-foot-1, 224-pound Bell attends Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing. Rutgers, Boston College, Purdue, Syracuse and West Virginia were among the other schools to offer the rising senior a scholarship.

Bell is the 11th verbal commitment in PSU's 2013 recruiting class and is the first linebacker in that class.

He is rated a three-star recruit on a five-star scale by both Scout.com and Rivals.com.
