Penn State's Blue-White Game will pit the Penn State offense vs. the PSU defense and feature a new scoring system under head coach Bill O'Brien.
The Nittany Lion defense will wear blue jerseys and the offense will wear white, with the quarterbacks sporting red jerseys, as they have in previous years.
The game will kick off at 2 p.m. Saturday in Beaver Stadium. Admission and parking are free, with parking lots opening at 8 a.m. and stadium Gates A&B opening at 11:30 a.m. and Gates C&E opening at noon.
The game will air live on the Penn State Sports Network and www.GoPSUsports.com, with Steve Jones and Jack Ham calling the action. The Big Ten Network will air the game at 8 p.m. Saturday.
On Saturday, a carnival and entertainment stage will open at 10 a.m. The carnival will last until 10 p.m. An autograph session with the football players will run from 11:55 a.m. until 12:40 p.m.
The scoring for the game will be as follows:
Offense
Touchdown: six points.
Field goal: three points.
Big play (over 15 yards): two points.
Two consecutive first downs: two points.
Extra point: one point.
Defense
Touchdown: seven points.
Turnover (unless a TD): six points.
Sack: four points.
Three-and-out: one point.
Tackle for loss: two points.
