    Football recruit Nick Bowers switches commitment from Pitt to Penn State

    UNIVERSITY PARK — Don't mind the snow and 20-degree temperatures throughout the state. The in-state recruiting battle between Penn State and Pitt heated up Monday afternoon when three-star tight end Nick Bowers from Kittanning High School changed his verbal commitment from Pitt to Penn State.
