Lexi Gohn pitched a complete-game three-hitter to lead Dover over visiting Northeastern on Thursday in a softball game that ended in the fifth inning because of the 10-run mercy rule.

She struck out three and walked three. She also doubled and had one RBI at the plate. Nat Cutright (4-for-4, four RBIs, two runs, two doubles, homer), Karsyn Blauser (3-for-3, two RBIs, double), Cassandra Root (2-for-3, two RBIs, homer) and Bri Crossan (two RBIs) excelled for Dover's offense.

OTHER SOFTBALL

Central York 7, New Oxford 2: At Central, Taylor Rohrbaugh went six innings and struck out 10, allowing two runs, to lead the Panthers. Kelsey Wisner had three hits for the winners, while Haley Klunk added two. Wisner tripled, while Kyla Caruso doubled. Sarah Smith had two hits for New Oxford.

Palmyra 13, West York 3: At Palmyra, the Bulldogs dropped the non-league contest to fall to 10-3 on the season. The game ended after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule. West York was outhit, 15-5.
