The York Catholic girls' soccer team improved to 3-0-0 in York-Adams Division III action on Tuesday with a 2-0 triumph at Biglerville.

Melanie Matthews led the Irish, scoring the first goal and assisting on the second. Macayla Welsh scored the second goal.

OTHER GIRLS' SOCCER

NORTHEASTERN 2, YORK SUBURBAN 1: At Suburban, Coryn Moyer and Logan Nieman scored for the Bobcats. Abby Eisenhart supplied the Trojans' goal. Northeastern goalie Brenna Schroeter recorded 14 saves and Suburban keeper Paige Grossman made 16 saves.

DOVER 7, KENNARD- DALE 1: At Fawn Grove, Brooke Firestone led the Eagles by scoring four goals. Kayla Miller, Brooke May and Maxine Herman each scored one goal for Dover. For the Rams, Kaitlyn Williams scored the lone goal. Dover improved to 3-0-0 in York-Adams Division II.

CENTRAL YORK 2, SUSQUEHANNOCK 1: At Central, Katie Hackos and Bri Hackos supplied the Panthers' goals. Maddy Mummert scored for Susquehannock, which got 25 saves from Ashley Stone. Hannah Shade had three saves for Central.

SOUTH WESTERN 1, SPRING GROVE 0: A scoreless game went to a second overtime, when Lauren Gough scored on an assist from Alyssa King in the 94th minute. Jacey Shipley got the shutout for the host Mustangs by making five saves. Ashley Forbes made 11 stops in goal for Spring Grove.
