York Catholic had three golfers shoot in the 70s on Monday to capture a York-Adams Division III Tournament at Range End Golf Club in Dillsburg.

The Fighting Irish won the team event by 30 strokes over runner-up Delone Catholic.

Nick Geiman led the winners with a 1-under-par 70. Matt McKim came in with a 73 and Andrew Forjan finished with a 79.

Fairfield star Isaiah Logue turned in the best round of the day, a 6-under-par 65.

Delone Catholic's James Rupp placed fourth in the individual competition with a 76, and Rupp's teammate, Ross Hockenberry, took fifth with a 78.

York Catholic is now 20-0-0 in Division III action. Delone is second at 16-4.

OTHER GOLF

WILDCATS CAPTURE FIRST PLACE AT HOME: At Springwood Golf Course, the Wildcats (398) captured first place in the team competition by 19 shots over Central (417) to win the York-Adams Division I match.

Brandon Greenplate and John Bagnall led the Wildcats individually by each shooting a team-best 77. Blake Sebring (79), Byron Markle (82) and Andy Stewart (83) rounded out the Wildcats' team scoring.

Red Lion's James Caskey (74) turned in the best overall score of the day. Central York's Gus Minkin (75) came in second.

Dallastown is now 30-0-0 in the division. Central York is second at 23-7.
