Isaiah Logue fired a 7-under-par 64 on Wednesday afternoon to earn medalist honors at the season-opening York-Adams League Division III golf tournament.

Logue, the defending PIAA Class AA state champion, was playing on his home course at Mountainview Golf Club. Logue recently set the Mountainview course record with a 10-under 61.

York Catholic captured the team title with a 400 total, which was 29 shots ahead of second-place Delone. Nick Geiman's 1-under 70 led the Fighting Irish and was second individually behind Logue. Matt McKim added a 75 for York Catholic, which was third individually.

Hanover's John Geiselman was the only other player to break 80, shooting a 78.

OTHER GOLF

MARKLE LEADS DAL LASTOWN TO VICTORY: At South Hills Golf Course, Byron Markle led Dallastown (383) to the York-Adams League Division I team victory by scoring a tournament-low 72.

Brandon Greenplate (73), Kyle Williams (78), Andy Stewart (79) and John Bagnall (81) rounded out the team scoring for the Wildcats.

Red Lion (398) came in second, with James Casey (74), Kevin Crumbling (75) and Dylan Reichard (77) each scoring in the individual top 10. Central York (402) came in third with Connor Bacha scoring a team-best 74. Teammate Gus Minkin shot a 79. Spring Grove (403) came in fourth with Tori Ross shooting a team-best 77, while Colin Marshall and Luke Hoffnagle each shot 78s. New Oxford (450) came in fifth with Mike Gruver's 77 leading the way.
