DALLASTOWN -- York Suburban and Dallastown have earned berths in the York-Adams League Boys' Volleyball Tournament semifinals.

The Trojans and Wildcats earned their semifinal berths with first-round victories on Monday night at Dallastown High School.

Suburban rallied for a 22-25, 25-19, 27-25, 25-19 triumph over Kennard-Dale, while Dallastown swept Susquehannock, 25-10, 25-22, 25-19.

Both semifinals will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The Trojans (9-5) will face Northeastern (13-1) at Dallastown High School, while the Wildcats (9-6) will battle Central York (11-1) at Dallastown Middle School.

The two semifinal winners will then square off at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dallastown High School for the tournament championship.

Northeastern and Central York earned byes into the semifinals by finishing first and second, respectively, in the York-Adams League regular season. The Bobcats are ranked No. 1 in the state in Class AA by the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association. Central is No. 3 in AAA.

Northeastern and Central squared off in a regular-season finale last Thursday, with the Bobcats emerging with a 3-1 victory to clinch the regular-season championship.

In Suburban's win on Monday, Jacob Kauffman pounded 26 kills to go with 23 digs to power the Trojans. Lars Dalemar added 42 assists, 11 digs and five kills for the winners. Brad Hartshorne (10 digs, seven kills) and Liam Ridings (nine digs, seven kills) also excelled for Suburban. K-D fell to 7-5. Suburban and K-D will meet again on Thursday in the first round of the District 3-AA playoffs back at Dallastown at 6 p.m.

In Dallastown's win, Kyle Brignall pounded 17 kills to go with four digs, while Justin Barnett had 21 assists and three digs. Sam Ward added six blocks, while Owen Terroso added eight digs. Susquehannock was paced by A.J. Schaeffer (13 assists, 12 digs), Tim Frey (15 digs), Alex Miller (eight kills, five assists, four digs) and Nathan Rohrbaugh (seven kills, three digs).
