The West York boys' lacrosse team remained unbeaten on Wednesday afternoon with a 17-5 triumph over visiting Spring Grove.

The Bulldogs improved to 9-0 both overall and in York-Adams Division II.

West York led by just a goal after the first quarter before taking an 8-4 lead in the second quarter and pushing their advantage to 16-4 after three quarters.

Hunter Betz, Seth Clauser and Alex Raffensberger each scored three goals to pace West York's offense. Goalies Cole Rinehart (three saves) and Jordan Lombardo (six saves) combined for nine saves.

Spring Grove (4-6 in York-Adams Division I) got goals from Ty Sager, Colton Reese, Austin Barley and Austin Klunk.

OTHER BOYS' LACROSSE

DALLASTOWN 19, YORK SUBURBAN 2: The visiting Wildcats led 3-1 after the first quarter before pushing their lead to 9-1 at intermission. Dallastown (8-2 York-Adams Division I) had four players score multiple goals, including Tanner Ierley (six goals) and David Dygert (three goals). Collin Mailman scored each of Suburban's goals. Hunter Lane and Cullen Wenzler each had two saves in goal for the Wildcats.

CENTRAL YORK 13, YORK CATHOLIC 4: First-place Central York improved to 8-1 in York-Adams Division I. Max Haldeman led the visiting Panthers by scoring five goals. Ian Desenberg, Collin George and Conor Thornton each had two goals. Central goalie Shane Walker made 15 stops. The Irish got goals from William Casagrande, Tanner Yannick, Zach Flaim and Timmy Bowser.

KENNARD-DALE 15, RED LION 7: At Fawn Grove, Freddy Seitz led the Rams with five goals. Jesse Schonbrunner had three goals and two assists for K-D, while James Barlow had three goals and Nate Mikolinis and David Wallace each had one goal and two assists. For the Lions, Hayden Jennings and Sam Sipe each had two goals and one assist, while Tyler Dunlap had one goal and one assist. K-D improved to 7-2 in York-Adams Division II.

SOUTH WESTERN 4, SUSQUEHANNOCK 3: At Glen Rock, Cameron Sanders led the Mustangs with two goals and one assist. Quin Albright scored two goals. For the Warriors, Zach Gloeckner scored two goals and added one assist.

GIRLS' LACROSSE

KENNARD-DALE 21, RED LION 4: At Red Lion, Morgan Day and Lindsey Duty combined for 11 goals as K-D remained perfect in York-Adams Division II. Nicole Black supplied three goals and six assists for the Rams, who are 10-0 in league play. Jenny Smith scored all four of Red Lion's goals.

YORK SUBURBAN 16, DALLASTOWN 3: Suburban had five players with multiple goals, led by Alex Anderson (four goals, two assists) and Karis Reiter (four goals). Trojans' goalie Paige Smeltzer made five stops. Dallastown got goals from Bryna Cook, Alyssa Layton and Lindsey Ellis.

SOUTH WESTERN 21, SUSQUEHANNOCK 8: At Hanover, Braxtin Reddinger led the Mustangs, scoring seven goals and adding one assist. Teammate Sydney Szparaga scored five goals. For the Warriors, Katelyn Welch scored three goals, while Brooke Clasing had one goal and two assists and Ashley Valway and Carley VanLuit each scored two goals. South Western improved to 8-1 in York-Adams Division I.

YORK CATHOLIC 21, CENTRAL 1: At York Catholic, Lindsay Givens led the Irish with four goals. Maura Palandro had two goals and two assists and Sarah Gabriele had one goal and three assists. Shannon Moore, Alexis China and Laura Schmidt each had two assists and one goal. York Catholic improved to 7-2 in York-Adams Division II.

NEW OXFORD 12, EASTERN 6: At Wrightsville, Tiff Brzenk led the Colonials with five goals. For the Golden Knights, Rylie Toomey scored three goals.

WEST YORK 17, SPRING GROVE 4: At Spring Grove, Sara Sweitzer and Allee Ilgenfritz each had six goals and an assist to lead the Bulldogs. Brea Kesier had two goals for Spring Grove. West York improved to 8-2 overall and in York-Adams Division II.
