At Red Lion Christian, the Swordsmen held a commanding 49-30 lead at the half and went on to capture a 98-67 home victory over C.H.E.S.S in boys' basketball on Thursday.

Jake Myers led the Swordmen's offense with a team-high 26 points.

Teammate Chance Thompson scored 21 points, including three from behind the arc. Corbin Willard knocked in 18 points, while John Keenan scored 11 points.

Red Lion Christian has qualified for the Keystone Christian Education Association State Tournament and will receive the No. 2 seed.

The Swordsmen will face the winner of Emmanuel Baptist-West Chester Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, at West Chester Christian in a semifinal contest.

GIRLS' BASKETBALL

C.H.E.S.S. 38, RED LION CHRISTIAN 33: At Red Lion Christian, the home team led 20-14 at the half, but was unable to hold on in the loss. Ali Hollingshead led the Lady Swordmen with a team-high 17 points, including three from behind the arc. Teammate Olivia Dettinger knocked in 10 points. Despite the loss, Red Lion Christian has qualified for the Keystone Christian Education Association State Tournament and receive the No. 4 seed. The Lady Swordsmen will face Cacaan Christian at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 1, at West Chester Christian in a semifinal contest.
