Dover finished off the York-Adams League dual-meet season in impressive fashion Wednesday night.
The Eagles took nine of the 14 bouts against Red Lion, with four of those coming by pins, en route to a 46-23 victory.
With the victory, Dover finishes the season with a 6-4 league record to sit in a two-way tie for fourth place in Division I with West York. After going 6-4 in Division I last season, the Eagles achieved back-to-back plus-.500 seasons in league action for the first time since 1991.
The Eagles opened up a 19-0 advantage through the first four bouts Wednesday, which included a pin from Brandon Rodriguez at 106 pounds that kicked off the match. The teams then split the final 10 bouts. Dover also got pins from Logan Ambrose (152), Brian Lehman (170) and Cameron Beckman (220).
Red Lion, which forfeited bouts at 113 pounds and 285 pounds, got pins from Austin Holloway (145) and Rodney Eid (160).
The Lions finished with a 2-8 record in Division I. It marks the first back-to-back losing seasons in league action for Red Lion since 2001 and the least amount of league wins in a season since 2000 (0-7).
DALLASTOWN 39, MID DLETOWN 34: The host Wildcats won the non-league dual that paired up two District 3-AAA Team Tournament competitors. Both teams lost in the first round of the district event last week. Each team won seven of the 14 bouts, with Middletown (10-5) forfeiting four weight classes. Matt Gaynor (285 pounds) had the lone pin for Dallastown (9-3).
YORK TECH 54, SUS QUEHANNOCK 24: According to York Tech coach Mike Diliberti, the host Spartans improved to 10-11 overall with the non-league win. It would mark the most overall victories for the program since the 1993-94 season (9-10). Susquehannock forfeited four bouts but got pins from Adam Dell (285 pounds), Colin Riley (120) and Ray Wenger (170). The Spartans tallied five pins from Jevenson Villanueva (220), Gary Hake (132), Jordan DeHoff (138), Brandon Nikolaus (145) and Dylan Hartlaub (152).
