Eastern York trailed York Tech 36-24 with four bouts remaining on Wednesday night in Spry.
The Golden Knights stormed back, however, with four straight pins to capture a 48-36 victory over the Spartans in a York-Adams Division II match.
The Knights are 3-0 both overall and in the division. They are alone in first place. Tech fell to 4-4 and 1-2.
The four concluding pins came from Chance Hawkins (170), Zach Ilgenfritz (182), Alex Cooley (195) and Joel Lawrence (220). The Knights also received pins from Camden Stoops (heavyweight), Baren Leischner (113) and Mike Dumczuk (145).
For the Spartans, Tyler Martin (126), Gary Hake (132), Kyle Bly (138), Camron Stewart (152) and Dylan Hartlaub (160) each picked up pins.
SPRING GROVE 67, NEW OXFORD 3: At Spring Grove, the Rockets dropped the first bout of the night, but then won 13 straight to capture the York-Adams Division I victory. For the Rockets, Alex Guinn (heavyweight), Alec Zorbaugh (126), Mason Bentzel (145), Austin Barley (160), John Gross (170) and Andy Melhorn each picked up pins. Spring Grove improved to 3-0 in the division and overall, while New Oxford fell to 2-1 in the division and overall.
SOUTH WESTERN 56, KENNARD-DALE 14: At Fawn Grove, South Western combined pins by Zach Osborne, Alexander Jones and Cole Sterrett with four forfeits to capture the Division I match. Nathan DeBoard recorded a pin for Kennard-Dale, and Chance Marsteller earned a technical fall.
