The Kennard-Dale girls' tennis team closed out an outstanding regular season by rallying to defeat the York Suburban Trojans, 4-3, on Monday at Suburban.

The Rams swept both doubles matches to overcome a 3-2 deficit.

Alyssa Miller and Evan Boone dropped the first set at No. 1 doubles in a tiebreaker, but the K-D duo rebounded to win the match, 6-7 (6), 6-2, 6-2.

The Rams' Jess Wernig and Cecilia Oliveros teamed to take the No. 2 doubles match in straight sets. Miller and Wernig earned singles points for the winners, and Erika Toman, Nikki Spaulding and Nneoma Amaechi recorded singles victories for the Trojans.

K-D finished in second place in York-Adams Division II at 7-1. Suburban closed in fourth at 5-3.

OTHER GIRLS' TENNIS:

DALLASTOWN 5, NORTHEASTERN 2: At Manchester, the Wildcats won the suspended match in doubles, with Emily Westenberger combining with Danielle Lucabaugh to win the No. 1 match, while Emily Kistler and Angela Friedrich combined to win the No. 2 match. Westenberger, Lucabaugh and Artika Saharan also each won a singles match for the Wildcats. For the Bobcats, Laura Zielinski and Julia Mihurko each won a singles match. Dallastown finishes York-Adams League Division I play at 7-1, while Northeastern finishes at 2-6.
