At Dallastown, the Wildcats led 1-0 at the end of the first half and went on to capture a 3-0 York-Adams League Division I girls' soccer victory over Central York on Thursday.
Emily Ross led the Wildcats' offense by scoring two goals. Teammates Alaina Curry picked up two assists, Meagan Newmister scored a goal while Kelsie Druck notched an assist.
The Wildcats' defense held the Panthers to just three shots on goal for the game.
OTHER GIRLS' SOCCER
FAIRFIELD 2, YORK CATHOLIC 1: At York Catholic, Sammie Schlak scored the game-winning goal at the 28:14 mark of the second half to secure the York-Adams League Division III victory for the Green Knights. Teammates Katelyn McDonald scored a goal, while teammates Tori Harbaugh and Lexi Junker each picked up one assist. For the Fighting Irish, Elizabeth Johnson scored a first-half goal.
SUSQUEHANNOCK 2, RED LION 1: At Red Lion, the Lions scored the game-winning goal in the second half on an own goal to secure the non-divisional York-Adams League victory. Brooke McGee started the scoring for the Warriors with a first-half goal at the 1:30 mark. Teammate Ashley Stone made six saves in goal to secure the win. For the Lions, Kylie Strong scored the lone goal, while teammate Jordan Gebhart picked up the assist.
