West York is the York-Adams Division II golf champion for the third straight season.

The Bulldogs closed out another championship season by winning the final weekly Division II tournament at Briarwood West on Monday.

West York compiled a team total of 385 to finish 29 shots ahead of runnerup Eastern.

The Bulldogs' Josh Rinehart fired the best round of the day, a 69. Rinehart also posted the best average for the season's six tournaments, an excellent 71.8.

West York's Axel Hartman placed second in the closing event with a 73, and Eastern's Mike Bair was third with a 74. York Suburban's Devin Moore (75), West York's Chris Stolakis (78), Eastern's Jason Seitz (79), Susquehannock's Caleb Bryant (79), Eastern's James Davis (80), West York's Kevin Rice (81), West York's Clay Smith (84), Susquehannock's Ian Bourne (84) and Susquehannock's Alec Lebo (84) rounded out the top 10 finishers.

West York's golfers will next seek to win their third consecutive York-Adams Team Tournament crown on Wednesday.
