Kennard-Dale sewed up at least a share of the York-Adams Division II girls' lacrosse championship on Tuesday with a thrilling 13-12 triumph over York Catholic in Fawn Grove.
The Rams improved to 15-1 overall and 13-0 in league play. They now have a two-game lead over York Catholic (12-2 overall, 11-2 in the division) with just two regular-season league matches left.
Nicole Black (four goals, three assists), Morgan Day (three goals), Katie Fonte (two goals, one assist), Lyndsey Duty (two goals, one assist) and Taylor Davis (two goals) sparked K-D. The Rams also got nine saves in goal from Allie Storke.
York Catholic's leaders were Alexis China (four goals), Sarah Gabrielle (three goals), Lindsey Ingram (two goals, one assist), Natalie Fiorenza (one goal, one assist) and Shannon Moore (two assists). Alana Pietra made 10 saves in a losing cause.
It was K-D's second one-goal win over the Irish this season. The Rams won 14-13 on April 10.

SOUTH WESTERN 22, CENTRAL YORK 2: At Hanover, Katie Wherley collected three goals and an assist to lead the Mustangs. South Western has already clinched York-Adams Division I. The Mustangs are 13-2 overall and 11-2 in the division.
WEST YORK 14, SPRING GROVE 8: At West York, Allee Ilgenfritz led the Bulldogs with five goals and two assists, while Sara Sweitzer had two goals and two assists. Karli Breeden, Brie Anderson and Brittany Armpriester each scored two goals for the winners. For the Rockets, Logan Ross scored four goals, while Melanie Zavatchan scored two goals.
SUSQUEHANNOCK 12, YORK SUBURBAN 8: At Glen Rock, Bri. Boyer led the home team with four goals. Brooke Clasing added three goals, while Brit. Boyer and Abby Hagee each scored two goal. For the Trojans, Gabe Greco scored five goals.

SUSQUEHANNOCK 10, YORK SUBURBAN 9: At Suburban, Phil Norris led the Warriors with two goals and two assists. Sean Kaliszak and Thomas Nace each scored three goals for the Warriors, while John Chamberlin scored one goal and added one assist. For the Trojans, Kris Reinhold and Anthony Bettencourt each scored two goals and added two assists. Camden Kelliher had two goals and one assist for the Trojans, while Cameron Sprenkle scored one goal and recorded one assist.
SOUTH WESTERN 11, CENTRAL 9: At Central, Carnie Fryfogle and Cody Mai each scored four goals to lead the Mustangs. For the Panthers, Max Haldeman had four goals and one assist, while Ian Desenberg scored two goals and Nate Troupe scored two goals and added one assist.
WEST YORK 16, NEW OXFORD 6: At New Oxford, Klayton Garman had seven goals and an assist to lead the Bulldogs, while Tanner Gerace added three goals and an assist. Chad Lawrence had three goals and an assist for the Colonials.
CUMBERLAND VALLEY 16, SPRING GROVE 1: At Spring Grove, Trey Baker scored Spring Grove's only goal. Austin Mann had nine saves for Spring Grove.
