The York Tech baseball team trailed 7-4 going into the top of the sixth, but plated five runs in that inning to take the lead for good en route to a 10-8 non-league victory at Harrisburg.

Tyler Brown tied the game in the sixth with a two-run single, while Abdial Narvaez broke the tie with another two-run single, giving the Spartans the lead for good. Hunter Weibley (3-for-5, two runs scored), Derrick Smith (2-for-4), Luke Bosley (2-for-2) and Cyrus Tome (2-for-3, three runs scored) also excelled at the plate for Tech.

Spartans relief pitcher Sam Brown pitched the final four innings to pick up the win, striking out four and walking one. Tech improved to 8-9 overall.

OTHER BASEBALL

YORK CATHOLIC 16, YORK HIGH 1: At Small Athletic Field, York Catholic combined 10 hits with six York High errors to win the non-divisional game. Clint Bohn, Mark Burnside and Cody Maddox had two hits apiece for the Fighting Irish, and Burnside drove in three runs. Crishian Miranda collected two hits for York High. Pat Clement pitched the first four innings to earn the victory. Clement struck out four, walked three and gave up three hits. Matt McKim worked the final three innings for York Catholic. McKim recorded four strikeouts and didn't walk any batters.

NORTHERN 2, NORTH EASTERN 1: At Manchester, the Bobcats had the bases loaded in the third inning with no one out and the bases loaded with only one out in the fourth, but were only able to plate one run between the two innings. Jesse Sargen pitched a complete game for the Bobcats, striking out eight, walking two and allowing zero earned runs. Northeastern fell to 8-6 overall.

SOUTH WESTERN 11, KENNARD-DALE 3: At Hanover, the Mustangs led 6-1 after the fourth and went on to capture the York-Adams cross-over victory. Parker Bean picked up the win, striking out seven and walking three in six innings.

LOWER DAUPHIN 8, SPRING GROVE 1: The visiting Rockets (11-6 overall) scored their lone run in the third on a homer by Levi Krause.

RED LAND 10, CEN TRAL 6: At Red Land, the Panthers led 6-2 entering the bottom of the sixth, but the home team plated eight runs to take the lead for good.
