York Suburban took over sole possession of second place in York-Adams League Division II girls' soccer on Wednesday night with a 2-0 triumph over visiting Susquehannock.

The Trojans improved to 4-1-1, good for 13 points, while Susquehannock fell to 3-1-2, good for 11 points. West York, which beat Kennard-Dale 5-1 on Wednesday, leads the division at 5-0-1 (16 points).

The Trojans' defense held Susquehannock to just one shot on goal.

Mikala Kin broke a scoreless tie with an unassisted goal at the 14:12 mark of the second half. Lexi Ketterman supplied an insurance goal at 5:35. Bri Carr assisted Ketterman.

SOUTH WESTERN 3, RED LION 2: At Hanover, Erin Laird scored the game-winning goal when she found the back of the net at the 84:37 mark of the second half. For the game, Laird scored two goals and added one assist. Teammate Laken Bull stopped 12 shots in goal to record the victory. For the Lions, Emma Georgantis and Kylie Strong each scored one goal, while Sam Faller and Brooke Amandola each picked up one assist. South Western improved to 5-1-1 in York-Adams Division I, while Red Lion fell to 4-3-0. Dallastown leads the division at 5-0-1.

WEST YORK 5, KEN NARD-DALE 1: At Fawn Grove, Shyanne Kimbrough led the Bulldogs, scoring three goals. Sarah Ketterman and Bre Schlemmer each scored one goal, while Holli Eppley registered an assist. For the Rams, Courtney Gladstone scored the lone goal, while Kait Williams picked up an assist. First-place West York improved to 5-0-1 in York-Adams Division II.

NORTHEASTERN 3, DOVER 2: At Manchester, Logan Neiman's goal with 11:48 remaining in the second half lifted the Bobcats over the Eagles. Neiman connected at 9:44 after Dover's Maxine Herman tied the game with her second goal. Elizabeth Bentz delivered Northeastern's first two goals, the second on an assist from Neiman.

FAIRFIELD 5, YORK CATHOLIC 1: At Fairfield, Toni Harbaugh led the Green Knights with two goals. For the Irish, Natasha Vadas scored the lone goal. First-place Fairfield stayed unbeaten in York-Adams Division III at 6-0-0.

CENTRAL 2, SPRING GROVE 0: At Central, the Panthers received one goal apiece from Mallory Shirey and Sam Sweeney. The Panthers held the Rockets to just four shots on goal. Central improved to 4-2-0 in York-Adams Division I.
