York Catholic and Hanover split a pair of York-Adams Division III track-and-field contests on Monday afternoon at York Tech.
The York Catholic boys triumphed, 72-57, while the Hanover girls were victorious, 90-46.
In the boys' meet, the Irish captured first in all 10 of the track events that were held. Individually for the Irish, Joseph DiPiazza captured the 100, 200 and 400 dashes. Alex Taylor won the 110 and 300 hurdles. For the Nighthawks, Matt Felton won the javelin, shot put and discus.
In the girls' meet, Morgan Herrick led the Hawkettes by capturing first in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, 200 dash and high jump. Abbey Rhodes won the javelin, shot put and discus, while Zoie Cleary won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 runs.
