Spring Grove captured a 7-6 overtime triumph over York Catholic on Wednesday afternoon in York-Adams League boys' lacrosse action.

Zach Gregory led the Rockets with three goals. It was Spring Grove's first win of the season.

For the Irish, Will Casagrande scored two goals, while Peter Lijoi had one goal and two assists and Mark Kelly had one goal and one assist.

OTHER BOYS' LACROSSE

CENTRAL 21, NEW OXFORD 5: At Central, Max Haldeman pumped in six goals and C.J. Belker and Nate Troupe added five apiece for the homestanding Panthers. Haldeman, Belker and Colin George delivered two assists apiece. Central (3-2 overall) improved to 3-1 in York-Adams Division I.

GIRLS' LACROSSE

YORK CATHOLIC 17, NEW OXFORD 1: At New Oxford, the Irish led 13-0 at the half and went on to capture the York-Adams League victory. Megan Bittner led the Irish with three goals and one assist. Shannon Moore and Natalie Fiorenza each scored three goals. Lindsay Ingram and Sarah Gabrielle each scored two goals, while Alexis China picked up two assists. York Catholic improved to 5-0 in York-Adams Division II.
