York Tech moved within a game of first place in York-Adams Division IV with an 11-4 comeback victory over visiting Fairfield on Tuesday afternoon.

The Spartans improved to 3-1 both overall and in the division. Delone Catholic, which was idle Tuesday, leads the division at 4-0.

The Spartans erased a 3-0 Fairfield lead by erupting for six runs in the fifth and five runs in the sixth.

Katrina McLane got the win, pitching a complete-game six-hitter. She struck out four and didn't walk anyone. Angela Johnson had three hits for the winners, while Cheyenne Fulcher was 4-for-4 with three RBIs.

OTHER SOFTBALL

YORK CATHOLIC 7, YORK SUBURBAN 6: At York Catholic, Carrie Fix pitched a complete-game seven-hitter to lead the Lady Irish. She also tripled, as did her teammate, Julia Ruiz. Fix fanned 10 and walked six. Rachel Fry took the loss in a complete-game six-hitter. She struck out eight and walked four. Emily Turybury doubled for Suburban.

EASTERN 5, COLUM BIA 4 (8 INNINGS): At Wrightsville, Katie Sollenberger's two-out double delivered the winning run in the bottom of the eighth. Sierra Arnold singled with one out, and following a strikeout, Arnold stole second. Sollenberger then drove a ball into the right-center-field gap, scoring Arnold. Sollenberger collected three hits for the winners, and Rachel Holtzinger and Leann Lagowski supplied two hits apiece. Arnold struck out eight and walked three to earn the victory.

DOVER 12, BERMUDI AN SPRINGS 7: The visiting Eagles scored two runs each in the first, third, fourth and sixth innings and tacked on four more runs in the seventh. Starting pitcher Alexis Gohn went the distance for Dover, allowing seven runs on 10 hits while striking out 13 in seven innings. Kate Diehl paced the Eagles, going 3-for-5 with a triple.
