Dallastown, Red Lion and South Western are in a dead heat for first place after the first week of York-Adams Division I boys' tennis action.

All three teams are 2-0. All three earned 7-0 wins on Thursday. Dallastown beat West York, Red Lion blanked New Oxford and South Western rolled past Spring Grove.

At West York, the Wildcats received singles victories from Adam Gante, Andy Murray, Aaron Inkrote, Payce Berridge and Ryle Salaga. In doubles, Gante and Michael Klahold combined to win the No. 1 match, while Murray and Berridge combined to win the No. 2 match.

At Red Lion, Grant Williams, Dustin Innerst, Sam Innerst and Evan Newcomer each won in singles and doubles to spark Red Lion. Billy Fix won a three-set thriller at No. 5 singles, 6-4, 6-7 (2), 6-4.

At Spring Grove, Mack Meyer, Anthony Miserendino, Quin Meyer, Brandon Stremmel and Noah Staub earned singles wins to spark the Mustangs. Spring Grove's Chris Mathews took Mack Meyer to three sets in an exciting No. 1 singles match before falling, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5.

OTHER BOYS' TENNIS

CENTRAL YORK 7, YORK HIGH 0: At Small Athletic Field, Hunter Brown and Rajeev Dalal won in singles and doubles to lead Central. Ryan Keffer, Dan Eschbach and Connor Nixdorf also earned singles victories.

BIGLERVILLE 5, YORK CATHOLIC 2: At Springettsbury Park, Biglerville swept both doubles matches to seal the victory. Cole Herzing, Adam Schrider and Evan Foster earned singles points for the Canners, and Patrick Albright and Adam Hack won singles matches for the Fighting Irish. Schrider and Kyle Freeman outlasted Hack and Matt Koury in a hard-fought No. 2 doubles match, 7-6 (7), 0-6, 10-5.

DELONE CATHOLIC 7, NORTHEASTERN 0: The host Squires swept won all five singles matches without surrendering a game. Jake Bollinger led Delone by winning in singles and doubles.

YORK SUBURBAN 6, SUSQUEHANNOCK 1: At Suburban, Michael Hogg and David Lee won in singles and doubles to lead the Trojans. Elliot Diehl, Nick McElhinny and Ben Lame also earned singles wins for Suburban.
