Katrina McLane excelled on the mound and at the plate to lead York Tech to a 3-0 softball triumph over visiting Susquehannock.

The Warriors are one of the traditional powers in the York-Adams League.

McLane pitched a complete-game shutout for the Spartans, striking out nine and walking none. She was also 2-for-3 at the plate, including a two-run single in the bottom of the first.

Angelea Johnson went 2-for-3 with two runs scored for Tech, while Dani Aikins went 2-for-3.

For the Warriors, Lindsey Rosenzweig had both hits for the visitors. Morgan Martin pitched a complete game for Susquehannock, striking out six and walking two.

OTHER SOFTBALL

SPRING GROVE 2, NEW OXFORD 1: At New Oxford, Erika Heck pitched a complete-game four-hitter to lead the Rockets. She fanned 12 and walked just one. Amy Bentley had three hits, scored a run and drove in a run for the winners. Nicole Ayers pitched a complete-game five-hitter, but took the loss. She struck out five and walked one. Taylor Bange had two hits for New Oxford.

DELONE CATHOLIC 6, YORK SUBURBAN 5: At McSherrystown, Delone scored six runs in the bottom of the seventh to erase a 5-0 lead and earn a dramatic victory. Deanna Laughman's three-run triple and Tayler Schussler's two-run homer keyed the big rally. Rachel Fry pitched a complete game, but took the loss for Suburban, striking out nine and walking two.

DALLASTOWN 4, KEN NARD-DALE 0: At Fawn Grove, Kelsey Collins pitched a two-hit shutout to lead Dallastown. She struck out seven and didn't walk anyone. Kayla Merriman had three hits for the winners, while Amanda Jones had two hits, including a triple. Desi Joines pitched a complete game for K-D, fanning 10.

SOUTH WESTERN 20, WEST YORK 10: At West York, Sarah Bortner had three hits and eight RBIs to lead South Western. She also got the complete-game victory on the mound. Rebecca Heltzel had three hits and seven RBIs for West York. Two of Heltzel's hits were homers.

RED LION 12, NORTHEASTERN 3: Alexis Taylor homered, tripled and doubled to lead Red Lion. Taylor and Taylor Gould each drove in three runs for the Lions. Ali Posey added two RBIs.

EASTERN 14, FAIRFIELD 11 (SUSPENDED): At Fairfield, after breaking an 11-11 tie, the Golden Knights plated three runs in the top of the eighth to take the lead with two outs when play was suspended because of darkness. The game will be completed at a later date.
