The Dallastown and South Western boys' lacrosse teams finished in a dead heat for second place in York-Adams Division I a season ago with identical 10-4 league marks.

This season, however, it appears the gap between the two teams has widened.

The Wildcats rolled to a 12-1 verdict over the visiting Mustangs on Monday afternoon.

Jake Mitchell and Pat Conroy led the Wildcats with four goals and one assist apiece. Kyle Kunkowski scored two goals and added two assists and Joe Didusch scored one goal with two assists. Tyler Wise collected one goal and one assist for the winners.

Dallastown improved to 2-0 in Division I, while South Western fell to 1-1.

OTHER BOYS' LACROSSE

RED LION 13, SPRING GROVE 2: At Red Lion, Dominic Ruocco connected for four goals to help power the Lions. Nick Young and Hayden Jennings added three goals apiece for the winners, and Zach Nichols supplied a goal and two assists.

WEST YORK 12, YORK CATHOLIC 3: At York Catholic, the Bulldogs shut out the Irish in the second half. Hunter Heath and Nick Wilker led the Bulldogs with three goals apiece. Alex Raffensberger scored two goals, while Klayton Garman and Tanner Gerace each scored one goal with two assists. For the Irish, Will Casagrande scored one goal and added one assist.

SUSQUEHANNOCK 10, KENNARD-DALE 9: At Glen Rock, John Chamberlin led the Warriors, scoring three goals and adding five assists. Zach Speights had two goals and two assists, while Thomas Nace scored two goals. Zach Gloeckner scored one goal with one assist. For the Rams, Nate Mikolinis scored one goal and added two assists, while Greg White, Jesse Shonbrunner and Dave Wallace each scored two goals. K-D's James Barlow registered one goal and one assist.

GIRLS' LACROSSE

SOUTH WESTERN 15, DALLASTOWN 2: At Hanover, Katie Wherley poured in five goals, while Callie Kavanaugh and Sydney Szparaga added three goals apiece to lead the Mustangs. Jessica Kopenhaver scored twice for the winners. Maggie Seitz and Carly Godstrey scored for Dallastown.

YORK CATHOLIC 15, WEST YORK 9: At West York, Dana Amalfitano led the Irish by scoring six goals. Lindsay Ingram scored five goals, while Alexis China scored two goals and added two assists. For the Bulldogs, Allie Ilgenfritz scored five goals and had one assist, while Karli Breeden scored three goals and added two assists.

KENNARD-DALE 18, SUSQUEHANNOCK 8: At Fawn Grove, Nicole Black led the Rams by scoring seven goals. Abbie Pietra scored four goals for K-D, while Morgan Day and Haley Romoser each scored two goals. For the Warriors, Brooke Clasing scored five goals.

RED LION 11, NEW OXFORD 4: At New Oxford, the Lions took control in the second half, outscoring the home team 6-2 and went on to capture the York-Adams Division I victory.

SPRING GROVE 9, YORK SUBURBAN 6: At Spring Grove, Logan Ross and Shelby Grosberger combined for seven goals to highlight the Rockets' victory. Carlie Musselman added a goal and two assists for the winners. Gabe Greco scored two goals for Suburban.
