The Central York girls' volleyball team finished off a strong York-Adams League Division I season on Wednesday night with a 25-14, 25-13, 25-19 victory over visiting Red Lion.

The Panthers finished 10-2 in the division, good for second place behind unbeaten Susquehannock (11-0).

In Wednesday's win over the Lions, Naya Cheatem (14 kills), Andrea Quartey (eight kills) and Erin Dobbeck (18 assists) led the Panthers.

Marley Vebares (eight digs) and Lindsey Blevins (eight digs, five kills) paced Red Lion.

Central won the JV match, 2-0.

OTHER GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL

YORK HIGH 3, STEEL HIGH 1: At Steelton, the Bearcats won the non-league match, 30-28, 24-26, 25-20, 26-24. Paola Ramos led the visitors with nine digs, seven kills and five aces. Also for York High, Tosha Krout had 11 digs, Cheyenne Bradford had five kills and Yorgelis Lopez had eight digs. Steel-High won the JV match, 25-21, 21-25, 17-15.
