Drivers on part of Interstate 83 in York County may encounter nighttime line-painting crews starting Friday.
A crew plans to paint traffic lines on the northbound lanes between Exit 18, Mount Rose Avenue, in Spring Garden Township and Exit 22, North George Street, in Manchester Township starting at 9 p.m. Friday, according to a news release from the state Department of Transportation.
The project is expect to be wrapped up by 6 a.m. Saturday but could be finished much earlier, the release says.
But during that time, northbound I-83 will be down to a single lane.
The line painting is the culmination of a project to repair the bridge over Route 30 done by G. A.& F. C. Wagman Inc. last year, PennDOT says.
