State police with the state's Liquor Control Enforcement agency cited four York County establishments in January.
Three restaurants were cited for allegedly serving alcohol to a minor, police said. They are Applebee's at 101 Northern Way in Springettsbury Township; Lil' Bit of Chicago at 20 McKinley Ave. in Hanover; and Olive Garden, 1340 Kenneth Road in West Manchester Township, police said.
Also cited last month was the Broken Oar Tavern at 6369 River Drive in Hellam Township, for allegedly allowing smoking in the establishment, police said.
The businesses cited will go before an administrative law judge who can impose fines and order license suspensions, depending on the severity of the citation, police said.
