Penn State has added another verbal commitment to its 2014 football recruiting class.

According to multiple recruiting web sites, Alabama safety Christian Campbell has decided to join the Nittany Lions and their new head coach, James Franklin.

Campbell, who is from Phenix City, is listed at 6 feet, 2-inches and 200 pounds. He also reportedly had offers from Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Boise State and Syracuse, among others. He's rated a three-star recruit, on five-star scale, according to both Scout.com and Rivals.com.

Penn State now has 25 verbal commitments in its 2014 recruiting class, including five who have already enrolled at PSU and will likely count against last year's recruiting total.

PSU's class is ranked No. 20 nationally by Rivals.com and No. 19 by Scout.com

Verbal commitments will become binding on National Letter of Intent Day on Wednesday. With Campbell's commitment, PSU's 2014 recruiting class is likely complete.
