The Penn State York baseball team improved to 5-8 by sweeping host Penn State Scranton in a doubleheader Wednesday.

PSY won both games by a combined score of 23-2 (13-0 and 10-2).

At the plate, the Lions were paced by Tyler Page, a Northeastern High School graduate, and Norbert Rodriguez, a York High grad. The duo went a combined 7-for-11 with seven runs scored and four RBIs.

Page also picked up the win in Game 1 by holding Scranton scoreless in five innings of work, allowing four hits and striking out nine. Spring Grove grad James Gotwalt got the win in Game 2, allowing two runs on four hits in five innings.
