The Penn State York women's basketball team dropped a 55-39 decision to the visiting Messiah College junior varsity on Tuesday night.

The Lions trailed by 14 at the half and were unable to recover in the non-league contest.

Lauren Riggleman and Courtney Riggs led the local Lions with 17 points points each.

With the loss, Penn State York fell to 2-8 overall.
