HANOVER, Pa.—Authorities say the deaths of two men whose bodies were found in a central Pennsylvania apartment over the weekend may have been due to drugs.

Police were called to the Hanover unit just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday and found the 33- and 34-year-old victims, who were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police chief Dwayne Smith said no obvious signs of foul play were found. The York County coroner's office is scheduled to do autopsies Tuesday.

But Smith said his department's preliminary investigation and that of the coroner's office indicates that the deaths "may be related to a drug overdose."

He said officers found evidence of drug paraphernalia in the residence. The identities of the men are not being released pending notification of their relatives.
