Darien Brothers scored 14, Kendall Anthony added 12 and Derrick Williams had 11 to help Richmond (18-13, 8-8 Atlantic 10) snap a two-game skid and tie a school record for most home wins in a season.
Cedric Lindsay, Williams, and Anthony each made 3-pointers to start the game, sparking a 12-2 run in the first four minutes for the Spiders. Richmond led at halftime 42-26.
Richmond shot 51.7 percent (31 of 60) compared to Duquesne's 39.6 percent (21 of 53) for the game.
The Spiders led by as many as 36 points in the second half.
Derrick Colter scored 18 points and Quevyn Winters added 12 for Duquesne but were the only Dukes in double figures. Duquesne (8-22, 1-15) has lost six straight.
