PHILADELPHIA—Philadelphia police say a man who barricaded himself inside his home is in custody after a three-hour standoff.

Investigators say they responded to the home in the Port Richmond section around 11:30 p.m. Monday for a report of a fight in which one person reportedly fired shots in the air. SWAT teams found the suspect had barricaded himself inside the home, along with a 58-year-old woman believed to be his girlfriend.

No one was hurt and the suspect was taken into custody around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say they recovered two weapons and numerous shell casings from the house.

The man's name has not been released, but police say he faces numerous charges.
